Miss Luella Deters and Joseph Will Married Saturday

Miss Luella Deters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deters of southeast of Teutopolis, became the bride of Joseph Will, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Will of the Lillyville community, Saturday morning at 8 A. M. in St. Francis church before the altar decorated with ferns, candelebra and white gladiolas.

The assistant pastor, Reverend Joel Schmolke, O.F.M., officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride wore a white satin gown made with a ruffled yoke, buttoned down the back, with a full gathered skirt coming to a point at the bodice. The sleeves were long, pointing over the wrist. She carried a white prayer book topped with a white orchid with streamers.

Miss Eileen Deters, was her sisters only attendant. She wore a gown of blue taffets designed with a high neckline, puff sleeves and a gathered skirt set with a lace ruffle. She wore a matching sweetheart bonnet and carried a bouquet of yellow carnations.

The groom wore a dark business suit with a white carnation boutonniere and his brother, Pfc. Virgil Will of Rantoul, best man, wore his Air Force Uniform. Ushers were Cletus Deters , brother of the bride, and Raymond Will, brother of the groom.

A wedding dinner was served at 3:30 p. m. to 150 guests at the home of the bride's parents. A dance was given at the pavilion Saturday night.

The bride and groom will reside with the groom's parents until their new home at Lillyville is completed where the groom is engaged in farming. The bride has been employed at Central Glove Manufacturing Company in Effingham.
