Shive Satterfeal

LE ROY (PNS) - The funeral for Shive Satterfeal, 91, who died Thursday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stensel Funeral Home, the Rev. D. M. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Gilmore Cemetery.

Visitation begins this afternoon.

He was born Sept. 27, 1873, in Russell County, Ky. He married Emma Grammer in 1891. He came to Le Roy in 1920 and worked as a farm laborer until his retirement. His wife died in 1950.

Surviving are two sons, Willie, Mansfield; Leo, Le Roy; three daughters, Mrs. Emily Thompson, 114 Greenwood Trailer Court, Bloomington; Mrs. Cora Baily, Mrs. Sarah Bailey, both Le Roy; 37 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Seven children, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Satterfeal was a member of the Baptist Church in Kentucky.
