Text	Amy Carlson LEROY (PNS)--Amy L. Carlson, 82, a resident of Jackson Heights Nursing Home, Farmer City, and formerly of LeRoy, died at 7:50 a.m. Monday at the nursing home. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at LeRoy Christian Church, Jim Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Stensel's Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 25, 1896, at LeRoy, a daughter of James and Mary Wyckoff Sappington. She married Andrew Carlson Jan. 21 1915, at Bloomington. He died Oct. 21, 1976. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Wagers, Mahomet; two sons, Delmar, Decatur; and Donald, Pekin; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Five sisters and two brothers preceeded her in death. She was a member of LeRoy Christian Church, to which memorials may be made. Memorials also may be made to Jackson Heights Nursing Home, Farmer City.
