Mrs. Susan Miller Dead Mrs. Susan Miller, wife of Wm. Miller, died at St. Anthony's hospital Sunday morning, Sept. 8th. Her death was due to typhoid fever, having taken treatment at the hospital about three weeks. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Nosbisch, now deceased, and was born October 4th, 1872, and attended the schools of Teutopolis. Grown up to womanhood she was married to William Miller, Oct. 26th, 1897. This union was blessed with several children of whom four are living, Mary, John, Frank and Genevieve, who with the husband and her brothers John, Mart, Nick, and sisters Mrs. Dan (Kathryn) Ordner, Mrs. Jos. (Mary) Zerrusen, Mrs. Harry (Anna) Thoele, Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Schniederjan, Lillie and Therese single, survive and mourn her untimely death. She was a devoted wife and mother, ever ready to lend a neighborly hand to smooth the ills and afflictions of others. Interment was had from St. Francis' church, after a solemn Requiem had been celebrated Tuesday at 9:00 a. m. by Rev. Father Theodosius, O. F. M., assisted by Rev. Fathers Paschalis, O. F. M. and Othmar, O. F. M. The remains were followed by a large circle of relatives and sympathizing friends, to the local cemetery. |
