John Nosbisch, 80, St. Francis Township Resident, Dies Thurs.

John Nosbisch, 80 year old St. Francis township resident, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 11 in his home. He had been bedfast for several years.

Mr. Nosbisch was born january 17, 1875, the son of the late Christine Nosbisch and Anna Mersdorf. On September 25, 1906 he was united in marriage to Mary Wegman who survives. He was a member of St. Francis church and the Holy Name Sodality.

The rosary will be recited this Wednesday evening at 8:30 and again on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in Habing funeral home where the body lies in state. The requiem mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning in St. Francis church and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Surviving besides his wife mary, are six children Mrs. Allie (Edna) Worman of Bishop, John of Teutopolis, Leo of Effingham, Mrs. Mike (Marie) Ludwig of California, and Adolph and Bertha at home. He leaves on e brother, Mart of Teutopolis and sisters Mrs. Joesph Zerrusen and Mrs. Harry A. Thoele of Teutopolis and Mrs. Lillian Siemer, Mrs. Barbara Schniederjon, and Mrs. Lawrence Hoffman of Effingham. Twelve grandchildren also survive.

Preceding him in death was a daughter, Agnes, two brothers, Nicholas and Chris and two sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Katherine) Ordner and Mrs. William (Susie) Miller.
