Mrs Herman Westendorf Dead

Mrs. Herman Westendorf died at the family home one and three-forth miles northwest of Dieterich Wednesday morning. The deceased had been ailing for some time with lung trouble and had been out and around just a few days before her death. While she was sick none thought there was any danger. She was in good spirits Tuesday evening and to the family and relatives present the death shortly after midnight came as a surprise and shock. The deceased was a good Christian women and was loved by all her neighbors and friends. Her death comes as a great loss to the community as well as the family.

Mrs. Westendorf's maiden name was Mary Pruemer, she being a daughter of Barney Pruemer and wife of St. Francis township. She was born and grew to womenhood in that township and was united in marriage to Herman Westendorf in November 1904. To the union two children were born, a boy and a girl, both living. Her health has not been good for the past six months but she was never considered dangerously ill. The funeral will take place from the Catholic church at Bishop Friday morning at 10 o'clock.
