Herboth-Zerrusen

Tuesday morning at 7:30 Miss Anna Zerrusen was joined in the hold bonds of matrimony to Frank Herboth at the parish church here. The bride is the handsome and accomplished daughter of Anton Zerusen and wife, prominent farmers in St. Francis townshib. She is a general favorite with a large circle of acquaintances. Miss Lulu Schoenhoff of St. Louis acted as the bridesmaid. The groom is a son of Joseph Herboth of North Douglas township and is a prominent young farmer of that community. His brother, Joseph, acted as his groomsman.

After the marriage ceremony an all day wedding feast was celebrated at the home of the bride's parents to which a large number of relatives and friends were invited. A large dancing platform furnished amusement for those who cared to dance. The couple will make their home on a farm one and a half miles north of Effingham.
