Joseph Will dies Oct. 10

Joseph H. Will, 65, of rural Teutopolis, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

The funeral was at noon Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lillyville, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham, with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7 p.m. and a parish wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Will was born September 3, 1925, in Cumberland County, the son of Martin and Frances (Hoene) Will. He married Luella Deters in 1951 in Teutopolis.

He was a farmer and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church and the Men's Sodality, Lillyville, Knights of Columbus, Teutopolis, and Teutopolis Unit 50 School Board.

Surviving are his wife; son, Eugene of Effingham; daughters, Mrs. Terry (Mary Ann) Mimms of Galatin, Tennessee, and Carolyn Will of Effingham; brothers, Lawrence of Sigel, Virgil of Decatur, Ray of Teutopolis, and Bernard of Effingham; sister, Mrs. Norbert (Eleanor) Goeckner of rural Effingham, and two grandchildren.
