Gladys Satterfeal LEROY .(PNS) - Gladys Irene Satterfeal, 74, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center, Bloomington. Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the LeRoy First United Methodist, the Rev. Harvey Dibrell officiating. Burial will be in Frankenberger Cemetery, near Ellsworth. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at Stensel's Funeral Home, and from noon until time of service at the church. She was born Feb. 7, 1904 at Bentown, a daughter of Otis and Ella Lawrence Woosley. She married Leo Satterfeal Feb. 24, 1922, at Bloomington. He survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Vivian Mosson and Juanita Dagley, both of LeRoy; Marilyn Quaid, Wapella; Carol Sieg, Bloomington, and Janet Martin, Hudson; four sons, James, Ellsworth; Vernon, Roy and Kenney, all of LeRoy; two sisters, Tess Martin, Bluffs and Dorothy Wilson, Bloomington; a half brother, Orville Woosley, Bloomington; two stepsisters; 28 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A son, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of the LeRoy United Methodist Church, to which memorials may be made, or to the American Cancer Society. |
