MRS. KATHERINE BLOEMER DIES
Mrs. Katherine Bloemer, nee Thoele, widow of Joseph Bloemer, passed away at her home in the northwest section of Effingham early Thursday morning, July 9, 1936.
Mrs. Bloemer, who had spent practically her entire life in Effingham was 82 years, 3 months and 21 days old at the time of her demise. She is survived by eight children, namely: Mrs. J. H. Althoff, Mrs. Mary Koester, Mrs Katherine Dust, Joseph, Clem, Ben, Frank and Henry Bloemer. Mr. Bloemer died 24 years ago.
Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Anthony's church at Effingham with burial following in the parish cemetery there.
