MICHAEL NOSBISCH DIES

Michael Nosbisch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Nosbisch of St. Francis Township passed away at the family home Wednesday afternoon, January 4th, 1939, after having been ill with a nervous ailment for about six years. He had been an invalid for some time and was not able to be up and around.

Michael was born July 30, 1912, making his age at the time of his death, 26 years, 5 months and 5 days. He lived his entire life with his parents in St Francis Township, having attended the rural and the Teutopolis High schools in his youth. He was ever popular with his classmates and friends, who will be saddened to learn of his passing.

Michael is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mathias (Mary Kahtz) Nosbisch, one brother, namely Christian of near Montrose; and three sisters: Mrs. John (Josephine) Bloemer of Effingham; Alma of Chicago and Florence at home, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, Jan. 7th at 9 o'clock in St. Francis Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial taking place in the parish cemetery in this village.
