Kenneth Carlson
LeROY - Kenneth M. Carlson, 55, of LeRoy died at 8:40 a.m. yesterday (March 6, 1992) at his residence.
The McLean County coroner's office is investigating. No foul play is suspected.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. monday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy, the Rev. Jerry McNemee officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He was born March 3, 1937, at Ellsworth, the son of Albert and Fenella Roberts Carlson. He married Virginia Phillips Nov. 22, 1967, in LeRoy. She survives.
Other survivors include two stepdaughters, Sandra Shelton, R.R. 1, Saybrook, and Karen Hawthorne, Saybrook; three brothers, Lyle Carlson, LeRoy, Lowell Carlson, R.R. 1, Lexington, and Darrel Carlson, Normal; two sisters, Barbara Cooper, St. Ann, Mo., and Alice Carlson, Bloomington; and five stepgrandchildren.
His parents preceeded him in death.
Mr. Carlson worked for 39 years for Doyle Oil Co., Ellsworth. he was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict and a graduate of Ellsworth High School Class of 1955.

Note on source

The author and paper are unknown. It was found in the Oak Grove Cemetery records in the LeRoy public library. A hand written note was on the article stating "committed suicide by hanging himself." There is no published documentation on his cause of death.
